The application process

Navigating grid connection permissions does not have to be stressful or slow. From gathering your initial technical specifications to securing formal DNO approval, we take care of the entire submission so you avoid costly mistakes and delays.

Step 1: Gathering essential details

What we need from you,

  • Installation owners name and address & phone #
  • MPAN
  • Picture of DNO cut-off fuse ,
  • Inverter make and model,
  • Export limitation setting,
  • Details of any existing installations at the property.

Many self-managed applications stumble because of installers time constraints  with mismatched or incorrect CLS sizing for their system. We double-check every figure before compiling your comprehensive DNO pack to ensure compliance from the start.

Step 2: Submission and tracking

Once your complete pack is prepared, we submit the official application directly to the relevant Distribution Network Operator.

As soon as the network operator confirms receipt, they generate a dedicated reference code which we promptly pass on to you for complete transparency. You will always know that your grid application is officially logged and active.

Step 3: Proactive follow-up and approval

Rather than waiting weeks in silence, we proactively contact the network operator after 36 hours to review progress, handle technical queries, and immediately implement any required amendments.

Once all network assessments conclude, we secure the official DNO confirmation on your behalf.
